You can Create CD DVD Labels Cover Booklets with Free CDox Editing Software software which also allows its user to export a cover file, that he may want to keep or show to his friends for instance. All exports are in the jpeg format by default. And if wished files can also be exported in the lossless png format, which is just as large as jpeg! One thing about the software is it easy interface, that looks so uncomplicated to the eye but don’t get decieved into thinking that the software has a dearth of features(as I thought for a while). This Free CD Label Maker contains more features and options than you can expect!

The software has an exclusive feature known as the ‘fill cover’ which is actually an easy way to create home made covers fast! With the help of this option, the front side cover will show the artist and the (sub)title, while the backside will have the artist and title (seperated by a “-”) on the sides and the tracks in the middle, a booklet will have the tracks on the left and the artist and (sub)title on the right.
This Free CD Label Maker software also has two different toolbars built in it. One being the generic toolbar and the other a text toolbar. The generic toolbar has the function of easy accessing the actions in the menus. During use you’ll see that most menu-items have an equivalent on the generic-toolbar. The first buttons are the standard ones, while the last two gives options such as inserting a background-image and inserting an image(element). It should be noted that the generic toolbar can not be moved.

The buttons in the text-toolbar are turned off during the edit mode. There is a button ‘A’ that has the same function as “Text on”. You will be in text-mode when you press this button. Pressing this button will activate all other fields and buttons on this toolbar.

In the first field you can choose the font to write your text in whereas, the second one sets the size of the font. The ‘B’, ‘I’,U let you write your text (or set the selected text) to Bold, Italic and Underline.  With the button ‘ABC’ you can set the color of the text. This toolbar is moveable by clicking the left-mouse button (when the move-cursor appears) and dragging the mouse to the desired position.
I am using this software for a few weeks now and my installation hadn’t made me run into errors till now. Everything just looks fine on my Windows, but for a word of caution (to those who are novice), this software is built on the Java 1.4 platform, and thus, requires you to install a java version not less than the version 1.4 at least, or chances are you may run into problems with your installation.
I’m using the software and I’m quite happy with the way it works. Unlike many of the flashy softwares that are found commercially, this software is free, tiny and comes with quite a lot of handy features to start with. Although bugs are still reported, I have had the rare privilege of not running into one till now! I believe this Free CD Label Maker does what it says and does it neatly. So if you are really looking for a free and easy way to make covers and labels for your discs, then all you need is to Download CDox Free CD DVD Cover Editor Software and give this a try!
